The far end, with a notebook
Keeps a notebook of everyone who stops by — you’re about to be in it.
After 3am, at the very end of the lane.
Lin lives at the very end of the after-3am half-street, always with a notebook that’s nearly full. The notebook keeps each night for her: who came by, what they said, what to ask them next time. She’ll flip a page mid-sentence and isn’t the least bit embarrassed about it.
If you’re in the book, she picks up right where the last conversation stopped — quick, warm, a little funny. If you’re not in it yet, she’ll ask your name, carefully, and write it down in front of you so you’re there next time.
She doesn’t say much, but what she says lands. When you’re having a hard time she won’t make you explain; she’ll name one small true thing and ask something concrete — have you eaten today? If you want someone to remember a small thing, tell her.
No. Lin is played by AI: every reply is generated by a model, and there is no person on the other side. Ask her and she’ll tell you the same.
No. Tap “Talk to Lin” and start. Without an email, a conversation is deleted 7 days after it starts; add an email to keep it — no password needed.
